READING SKILLS PROGRAM

What it does
- Teaches new readers words and colours.
- Reviews by vocabulary words.
- Teaches unfamiliar words and their spelling.
- Teaches how to make up rhymes.
How it is done
The program has two hundred cards. 100 are verses and 100 are pictures, printed in full colour. There are ten verse cards and picture cards to each topic. The learner matches the correct verse with the appropriate picture.
Who created the program?
Anne Clayton is a reading specialist, who taught reading to elementary school children and those with reading difficulties and has developed this program. Many excellent readers started their success by using the program. Give your students that extra boost they need to become extraordinary readers.
